Near-duplicate clusters
Add to Cart, add_to_cart, and AddToCart land in one cluster when they are really one action. Each cluster shows a plain why line — shared casing, synonym, verb form, phrase rewrite — so you are not guessing.
Accept or keep separate
Accept a single canonical name for the cluster, or mark true variants Keep separate when props or intent differ. Keep-separate choices stick across re-normalize so Taxon does not keep asking the same question.
Property cleanup
Near-duplicate property keys get the same cluster treatment on the Properties tab — accept, keep separate, notes — so the property side of the taxonomy does not stay a second mess.
Agency-grade mess
Built for ugly dumps: client prefixes, mixed casing, truncated names, CRM hybrids next to product analytics. Precision over aggressive merges — login stays apart from signup when they should.
Synonym packs
Default, SaaS, and Ecommerce synonym packs, plus optional custom token→expansion paste, so your house vocabulary can guide clustering without rewriting the file by hand.
Decide safety
Collision warnings, plain Why? explanations, and explicit map-conflict choices for events and properties when a prior map disagrees with a new cluster.

Ritual banner
On a new dump vs last pack: what’s new, what’s still on pack, and where names silently drifted. Sticky mini counts stay visible while you scroll long cluster lists.

Click the sticky new or drifted count (or use the command palette) to jump straight to the first matching name — same lists as the banner.
Timeline
Local pack history in this browser. Trend strip across consecutive points, and compare any two history packs — not only the latest pair.
Recent packs
Up to eight local pack snapshots for preview or compare, with a local Clear all when you want a clean slate on this machine.
Drift export
From the ritual banner, download a markdown + CSV drift report (new / on pack / drifted) for consultant or PM handoff.
Honest empty states
Clear messaging when history is empty, you only have one pack, or a selection is stale — no fake charts.
Map library & merge
Named maps for multi-client work. Merge two maps without losing the conflicts you still need to judge.
Named map library
Rename, duplicate, and pin last-used maps. Decisions stay on this device — the library is local storage, not a cloud account.
Zip export / import
Move .map.json sets between machines with Export all zip / Import file or zip — still no server round-trip for the files themselves.
Merge two maps
Union accepts and keep-separates, flag same raw → different canonical, then prefer Map A, Map B, or Manual pick on conflicts.
Manual pick panel
Use A/B per conflict, bulk remaining, Apply picks & save. Export/Save stay gated until picks are applied. Sticky bar stays pinned on long conflict lists.
Unresolved tools
Remaining chip with event/property kind split, Unresolved only filter, Find raw with /, Copy / Download unresolved (events and properties) via More … overflow.
Merge keyboard
With focus in the panel: a/b pick Map A/B, x clears, j/k move rows, n/N next unresolved, Home/End, Enter to apply when complete, c copy raw — ignored while typing.

/ focuses cluster search on the active Events or Properties tab. Focus mode trims chrome when you want a quieter decide pass.

Light / Dark / System theme (System follows the OS). Compact / comfortable density beside it. Print stays ink-on-paper.
First-run tour
Dismissible coach marks: load sample → decide → preview pack → manual pick → next dump. Skips when a guided demo is already coaching.
CLI · same brain
taxon-cli packs CSVs on disk, applies maps, note templates, strict conflict reporting, CSV map export, and maps unresolved for merge leftovers — matching the tab’s rules.
Open locally
Install as a PWA and Open with from Finder/Explorer, drag onto the app or open.html, or use the bookmarklet deep-link. Files never leave the device on these paths.
Undo you can trust
Undo toast labels the action; bulk decides collapse to one undo entry and never fuse across keep-separate. Pack edits undo while preview is open.
Files stay in the tab
Cleaning never uploads your CSV. Taxon runs in the browser (or as a local CLI). We only count anonymous page views — not file contents. Maps and Month-N history live in this browser until you export them.
